I’m really excited you’re visiting.
I’m building a live and growing guidebook to how to navigate the ‘universe of things’, that is, living through the human condition with all the pertinent minutiae as an ‘alien’ living on this planet.
I’ve felt like and been like a sort of foreigner my whole life which is the reason I’ve made some huge detours from appearing ‘normal’. If ‘everybody is doing it’, I get skeptical, and that’s probably been my greatest delay in deciphering it all; I’m sort of observing things to try and just understand the meaning of things and the way they are.
I’m told by those close to me that I see the world very differently. So, maybe it’s time I put thoughts to paper—or to the web. Maybe it’s partly because of my personality (I’m one of those rarest types in the world, apparently) or maybe, somehow, by looking at me, I defy stereotypes—I don’t ‘act’ my gender or my age or my ethnicity.
I’ve never felt like I’ve ‘fit in’ anywhere. So I could be from another planet for all I know. Surely this is what engenders those additional struggles and misguided searches for reasons and how-tos, all the time, at every turn; the mysteries of life that just can’t seem to be decoded, and events being continuously misunderstood.
It’s just as much as juggling multiple universes in the very palms of our hands, which for me feels composed of: one’s perceived world, the actual world, and now the online world (that other added persona); on top of which I feel compelled to also want to build the world I wish for, shaping my own personal world where one can feel secure, happy, and productive, and still be thriving (or appear to be) outwardly in all the current realities.
This newsletter will give you a glimpse including some guidelines from another universe—mine, however alien or familiar—and share how I’m navigating, living with intent, within these complex human-made systems! (And, of course, there may be alternate endings!).
